The SERMACS Boards wholly or partly administers four regional awards, which are given at our meetings. These awards are as follows:
- The ACS E. Ann Nalley Regional Award for Volunteer Service
- ACS CHED Southeastern Regional Award for Excellence in High School Teaching
- The ACS Stanley C. Israel Award for Advancing Diversity in the Chemical Sciences
SERMACS 2011 is accepting nominations for each of these awards. Please choose the link above for more information about each award or to nominate an outstanding candidate today! Nominations for the Stanly C. Israel award must be submitted by August 1, 2011. Nominations for both the E. Ann Nalley Award and Excellence in High School Teaching Award are requested by August 20, 2011.
